Sudden Realization

Last night before I fell asleep, I had this sudden realization that the summer is flying by. It's almost August, which means the school year will be here soon. When I realized this, I had this sudden fear. I thought of all the things I had to do before the school year started and what little time I will have during the school year and I realized that I have this heavy burden on me that I have to carry and I felt so restricted. I feel like school, education, and the future will forever hold me down and I won't ever be free or feel free again. This must be what leaving childhood behind feels like. It must be terrible leaving childhood. Leaving childhood is leaving behind the simple joys that a child would enjoy and it's the realization that one's dreams are not as easy to accomplish as a child would think.

Impressions of Summer

My impressions of summer right now is that I wish I could go back to the past! That already tells you what I think of my summer. The past was so simple and uncomplicated and no pressure! The past summers was like unclipping the leash off of a dog, it was free. This summer feels like the tightening of a dog's collar. It's choking me. Even with that, summer is still nice. I'm still more free than if it were doing the school year and the thought of summer hasn't been defiled because of this particular summer because I know it will only be this year that I feel so restricted. Of course next year won't be any better with college applications, but I think the thought of college will lift my spirits a bit.
Doesn't the thought of college lift the spirits? Anyways, I have a lot to do and I've wasted a considerable amount of time already, so adieu until another time!

PS: In case anyone hasn't noticed, I am trying to write a little better, so I'm watching my grammar now.

So, this is my new and improved blog in ENGLISH! :] The Spanish blog was very difficult to write and I didn't want Spanish on the bottom and English at the top, so I made a new one:] Anyways, I should actually be doing something else, so I'll update later~
